In light of recent events at the club (see here) we teamed up with our very own member Mandy Roberts (Primary Care Network Paramedic for Symphonie) and with the help of a training defibrillator from the the Daniel Wilkinson foundation, to provide some free CPR training at the club for any members who wanted to be educated on how to save a life.

Update on Steve Fletcher

As you may know one of our members, Steve Fletcher, suffered a massive heart attack on Tuesday 22nd November, and he was resuscitated on the course with the help of staff and members (and a defibrillator) before an ambulance arrived to take him to Castle Hill Hospital.

The management would like to say a big thank you to Brian Sellers for his continued work with the PATT Foundation and Green Task Force, helping the club secure thousands of pounds worth of funding for the tree planting ealier this year, and continuing to push forward with phase 2 of the planting which will hopefully be starting this coming winter.

160 golfers support the MD Golf Academy Am-Am

Last week our Head Professional Matt Daley hosted his annual golf day which raises funds for the junior section of his golf academy.

With 40 teams attending the day on Saturday 11th June it promised to be another very busy day at the club, and despite the (again) wind showing it’s face, the day was dry, warm and sunny which kept everyone happy on the golf course.
