Sports & General Knowledge Quiz raising funds for the Lungs of Burstwick phase 3
On Wednesday 1st November we are hosting a Sports & General Knowledge quiz which is open to all (not just golfers!) and promises to be a great night! Hosted by Brian Sellers with Kathryn Townsley, chair of the Tiger’s Trust as the quizmaster, the event will be raising money for the Lungs of Burstwick Phase 3 which aims to make Burstwick Country Golf greener as every year passes.
The event is supporting the Humber Eco Fest which is from 22nd October to 11th November which is helping people in the local area make a difference in tackling climate change.
The quiz will be providing sports and general knowledge questions and teams of up to 8 people are welcome! The night costs just £10 per person and includes a curry for every guest.
Our Men’s Captain John Ward will also be drawing his Charity Raffle on the evening with over £1,000 worth of prizes to be won! In fact, first prize is worth over £500 and there are over 30 prizes in total.
