Hired Overseeder doing it's job on Greens!

We have hired an overseeding machine called the Redexim Speed-Seed 1600 for overseeding our greens with a fine turf Fescue mix to help some of the warn and diseased areas that have been affected recently. Doing this straight after coring and fertilising gives them an excellent chance of getting an effective strike rate, especially with this warm weather.

We are currently applying round 40,000-50,000 litres of water per night onto the greens and tees, with our Quadrop dosing system to keep them growing nicely so by next week the greens should be running better, and in 2-3 weeks time we should start to see some new growth which will give the greens their best chance going into winter!
