£4,000 raised for Smile Foundation at Santander Golf Day
On Thursday, April 30 Burstwick hosted The Smile Foundation Golf Day with Santander, which saw 120 players come to the club and compete for a place in the Smile Foundation Final at Hull Golf Club on May 15.
The format for the day was Texas Scramble, with the top nine teams (from 30) qualifying. The weather was very kind on the day considering the terrible forecast, and the scores were fantastic.
Hull Flooring took the top prize with a stunning display scoring 56.1 overall, beating Santander’s own team by just 0.1 shots!
On the day around £4,000 was raised for the foundation, and along with the second of two qualifiers at Elsham and the final at Hull they hope to raise a whopping total of approximately £11,000.
Congratulations to the top nine teams that qualified for the final at Hull, and especially well done to the winners Hull Flooring with their brilliant score.
