Last night we hosted our Masters Par 3 Competition with 9 unique holes that you will never otherwise play at Burstwick. The total yardage of the course is just over 1,000 yards, so everyone has a good chance at posting a good score. Handicap allowance is 20% of your rounded handicap (so a play off 10 would receive 2 shots).

There were 49 players in the event and the weather wasn’t particularly helping last night with drizzle all evening, but the wind was low so conditions were fairly scoreable.

Prizes went to the top six players and it was our very own MD, Alan Key who climbed to the top of the pile with a score of 22 (-5) net. In Alan’s very own words “It’s great that I didn’t miss a shot tonight but come to something like the Club Championship and the shanks will come out in force!”
