New Local Rules for Staked Trees and Turf Repairs

We have two additions to local rules which players need to be aware of, please see below.

Staked Trees

The areas of newly planted trees marked by blue stakes (on the perimeter) are to be treated as no play zones under abnormal course conditions in the general area. Free relief must be taken from interference by the no play zone under Rule 16.1f.

Turf Repairs on Greens

All new turfed repair areas on greens are to be treated as Ground Under Repair and free relief may be taken under rule 16.1.

If the ball lies on the green and a newly turfed area is on the line of play, you may also take free relief under rule 16.1.
