Greens Maintenance commencing next week

Next week we will be starting the Spring greens maintenance which will last two weeks. We will be starting with 10mm scarifying using our Sisis TM1000 tractor mounted scarifier, which we bought last year. That means the towards the end of next week you will see a lot of lines in the greens which may slightly affect putting, but we will be running the greens iron over them before the weekend. Please remember this maintenance this is for the greater good of the continual improvement of our greens.

The week after (commencing 28th February) we will then be hollow coring and topdressing the greens, followed by brushing in with our Sweep n’ Fill machine and another roll. We’re looking forward to a great summer with the greens the best they have been in a very long time and this type of work is essential to achieve that.
