Captain's Charity Am-Am Followed by Charity Race Night
On Saturday 31st July our Men’s Captain is hosting his Captain’s Charity Open Am-Am at the club in aid of local Hull charity the Dove House Hospice.
Our Captain Steve Alger has put on a great format for the event, which costs £100 per team of four to enter, and will have a very generous prize table for a charity event.
The team prizes will go down well beyond 5th place and there will also be ancillary competitions on the day such as a Straightest Drive and Nearest Pins.

After the golf event our Captain’s Steve Alger and Laura Key are hosting a Race Night in aid of the same charity, Dove House.
On the evening you will be able to bet on races with cold hard cash, and everyone has a chance of winning! It’s a fun packed lottery where everybody nobody has a competitive advantage. It’s fun for the complete racing beginner and expert alike and every race contains eight runners that you can choose from.
The race night is open to everyone, not just golfers!
It is a non-profit event meaning that the ticket sales are there to cover the cost of the food and the race night equipment (any surplus goes to the charity), and a portion of the money from each race goes to the charity, while the rest is handed out to the winners!
