New rules for winning Trophies at Burstwick

The committee have decided at the last meeting to change the criteria which a player must meet to win one of the Men’s Trophies (this does not include Seniors’ Trophies) that are based on a net score (so not including the Club Championship trophy).

  • A male player must now have had at least 10 handicap cards submitted since they joined the club, before the event takes place.

  • A male player must have a handicap of 28 or lower to win a trophy

These changes were implemented from 1st September and can be found in our Conditions of Competition document which is placed on the main noticeboard.
