Fun Competitions starting Saturday 30th May 2020

We are starting competitions back up with a range of fun competitions from Saturday 30th May. On Saturday we will be holding a pairs betterball stableford, and on Sunday 31st May we are holding a pair’s greensomes (we ask the people do not touch their partners golf balls, please ask your partner to mark their ball on the green and take it out of the cup if that is the chosen one to play on that hole).

Competition Rules will be as follows:

Preferred Lies in Bunkers

A player may mark, lift and clean their golf ball while in a bunker and place on a preferred lie within 6 inches of the original spot.

Mark your partner’s scorecard but do not swap cards

Your partner must not sign the card, but verbally check scores between you and agree before posting in the black card box.

Do not touch Flagsticks

Leave the flagstick in the hole at all times.

Results may be delayed

Competition results may not be released for 2-3 working days, please bear with us as we are still running on skeletal staff and Laura is on Maternity Leave.

Do Not Touch Your Partners’ Ball

Under no circumstances should you touch your partners’ golf balls, that includes in greensomes and foursomes. For example, if you play greensomes and you are using your partner’s ball on a green and wish to mark it, please ask your partner to do so and do not touch the ball yourself.
